We drive smart modern sedans and MPV “People Carriers”.
All Driver-Guides carry cell-phones, which may be made available for your use (subject to a charge for extensive or international use).
Most of the vehicles we drive are not sold outside Europe, so we have included some photos and descriptions to better outline the options. Please note: photos are for illustrative purposes only and may not be a photo of one of our vehicles.
Standard car
e.g. Ford Mondeo, BMW 3 series, Mercedes C Class
Maximum 3 passengers; ideally 1 or 2 passengers
Large (air-con) sedan
e.g. Mercedes E Class, BMW 5 series, Jaguar X Class, Volvo S70/940
Maximum 4 passengers; recommended only 3 adult passengers for transfers, overnight touring or day trips from London.
Prestige (air-con) sedan
e.g. BMW 7 series (740/750 iL = long wheel base), Mercedes S Class
slightly longer than Large sedans; max 4 passengers, but recommended only 3 adult passengers for touring or day trips from London
MPV (air-con) “People Carrier” / “Family Car”
e.g. Chrysler Voyager, Citroen Synergie, Ford Galaxy, Peugeot 806, Renault Espace, Seat Alhambra, Toyota Previa, VW Sharan
up to 6 passengers on day trips; up to 5 passengers (depends on luggage) on overnight tours or transfers.
Super MPV (air-con) LimoVan
Mercedes Viano; VW Caravelle LWB
top of the range for sightseeing, up to 6 passengers. All leather individual “armchairs”, with integral inertia reel 3 point diagonal fixing seat belts. Sliding door access both sides, big windows all round. Maximum 6 passengers for transfers and overnight touring (depending on quantity of luggage)
Mini-Coach; air-conditioned Mercedes Sprinter (up to 16 passengers) and “PCV” chauffeur (NOT a Guide). If you wish to benefit from the services of a “Blue Badge” Guide, we will be delighted to provide this additional service.
Coach; deluxe air-conditioned coaches seating up to 42 passengers, with licensed PCV driver and “step-on” Blue Badge guide.
